Our Quality Assurance team at Fairchild Auto-Mated Parts is responsible for controlling and implementing a rigorous quality management system backed by industry-leading standards to ensure that every material, process and person involved in your project ensures quality excellence. Our Quality Management System is ISO9001:2015 certified. Our team leverages high-end inspection equipment to verify tolerances are met:

Quality Assurance is engrained in every step

Raw Material

We work with approved material suppliers and always require certifications to ensure your parts of the highest quality. We return any material that doesn’t meet our standards.

First Piece & In-Process Inspection

After every operation, your parts go through the quality department for a thorough inspection. They inspect a statistically significant sample of parts against each dimension to ensure tolerances are met.

First Article Inspection

Upon request, we provide a First Article Inspection Report along with a 6-piece sample for your review prior to the entire lot being run. This inspection is to your drawing so that your quality engineers can ensure the piece meets expectations.

External Testing

If any special testing is needed (e.g., hardness, lab sampling, FPI) we send the parts out to an approved vendor.

Certifications

We provide a certificate of conformance upon request and require any vendor to do the same.

Packaging

We package your parts with care, accommodating any special requests to ensure your parts arrive safely.

ISO9001:2015

Our Quality Management System has been ISO9001:2015 certified since 2000

ISO9001:2015 (International Organization for Standardization) specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:

a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and

b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

We are working towards AS9100D certification which is anticipated in May 2024.

We have spent years selecting and vetting material suppliers and finishing vendors to address all of your parts requirements. We collaborate closely with our partners to ensure your specifications are met and lead times are minimized. Further, our suppliers provide certifications upon request giving you further peace of mind.
